It’s all about a story, a narrative. A series of images that pulls you in until you really, truly feel it all – stark and honest. Photography has this unique ability to display the beauty our stories hold and invites us to relive them over and over again.

What is your story? What inspires you, excites you, draws you toward one another? What roads have you travelled, challenges endured to become the people you are today? For this is what it ultimately means to be human. This is what it means to be you.
Capturing your story in the truest way possible is the essence of my work, and I take great care to understand who my clients are and reflect that in the images I produce.

ABOUT ASHLEY
Wedding & Portrait Photography in Finland & Estonia
My name is Ashley and I am an obsessive storyteller.
My work has always revolved around stories in one way or another – crafting them through writing, portraying them through photography, sharing them through speaking, and facilitating them as a coach. I believe that stories connect us as humans, drawing us together for a common cause and infusing life with heart and purpose.
As a photographer, my ultimate aim is to encapsulate the story of you. The details, the emotions, the connections that together constitute life in the here & now.
While I will always call Canada ‘home’, I now spend my days between Finland and Estonia, photographing weddings, couples, families, and brands.
In the space between photographs and stories, I am a partner, mother, and wholehearted friend. I spend my time travelling as much as possible, dancing in my kitchen, playing board games and working out somewhat obsessively. I love Beyoncé and Star Wars in equal measure. My faith defines who I am.

LIFESTYLE SESSIONS
Lifestyle sessions (couples, pregnancy, baby, family, etc.) are priced at 350€ and include approximately 1.5 hours of shooting time and 30-50 high-resolution digital images.
WEDDING PACKAGES

Having lived in Finland for over a decade, I understand a lot of Finnish and can speak some.
I’m still learning Estonian, so some basic English is required for communication.

Yes! I happily travel within Finland and Estonia and internationally as my schedule allows. My fees/expenses for travel are as follows:
Domestic Travel within 250km from Tampere, Finland OR Kunda, Estonia: standard mileage fee according to Finnish standards, after the free 50km travel inclusion
Domestic Travel beyond 250km from Tampere, Finland OR Kunda, Estonia: relevant travel expenses compensated + 2 nights accommodation
International Travel: (outside of Finland or Estonia) flights compensated + minimum 2 nights accommodation

The best answer is as early as possible to ensure that the photographer is available on your day. However, to give a little bit of context, most wedding inquiries come approximately 9-12 months before the wedding high season. Some come in as early as 2 years in advance.
To secure your wedding date, I ask for a 25% deposit, according to your wedding package, along with the signing of your contract. If you are not yet ready to make your deposit, you can still put your name down tentatively for a date, and I will contact you if I receive other inquiries regarding that date. If another inquiry comes in, I give you two weeks to make the 25% deposit and confirm the booking.

Absolutely. I gladly schedule video calls with potential wedding clients if you’d like to ask any questions or just chat “face to face” before confirming your booking. Collaborating with my clients to find locations and outfits that inspire is one of the fun parts of my job. When booking, let me know in which areas you’d like input, and I’ll gladly help you out. I also provide an outfit planning guide to all clients as a general reference as you plan for your photo session.
